- Abstract
The article describes the case of a 67-year-old woman who was diagnosed with lactic acidosis and hypoglycaemia secondary to plasmablastic lymphoma. General malaise, urinary retention, weight gain due to oedema and mild abdominal pain are cited as some of her symptoms. Topics discussed include parenteral nutrition, computed tomography and positron emission tomography findings, and the Warburg effect.
