- Abstract
This article discusses a rare type of tumor called malignant mesonephric mixed tumor (MMMT) that originates from remnants of the mesonephric duct in the female genital tract, particularly the cervix. The article presents a case study of a 43-year-old woman with vaginal bleeding and a suspected cervical lesion. Transvaginal ultrasound and contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) were used to examine the tumor, with CEUS playing a crucial role in enhancing diagnostic accuracy. The article aims to increase knowledge about the sonographic and contrast-enhanced characteristics of vaginal MMMT among gynecologic oncologists and ultrasound practitioners.
