- Abstract
The article discusses the implications of the loss of privacy in social media for lawmakers. It discusses the myths of privacy on Facebook including the myths that Facebook users do not care about privacy and they make rational privacy choices. According to the author, some of the lessons learned by the law in dealing with product safety could be applied to problem of privacy safety. The basics of product safety law are discussed.
