- Abstract
In this article, the author discusses methods to maintain database and standardize terminology starting with makers of machinery and lubricants for ISFA (in-service fluid analysis). Topics discussed include correct all spelling errors of the same term with spreadsheet programming, separate data containing multiple pieces of information by deconstruct fields, while cleaning the database add the missing information and data do become old over time but are valuable for historical reference.
