- Abstract
The article presents a letter from India Institute of Medical Sciences' dermatologists discussing their study on the efficacy of the combination of sodium stibogluconate and rifampicin in post kala-azar dermal leishmaniasis. The study found that five of six patients who completed the treatment had an excellent response. The side effects include myalgia, thrombophlebitis and headache.
