- Abstract
The article presents the preparation for college pre-service program in science that is suitable for all elementary teachers in the U.S. The science programs or subject matter area should be made with the students purposes and interests in mind. A science teacher must be prepared to provide an answer to student's queries and set up demonstrations to show the principles involved in the program. The author provides an outline of elementary science preparations that divert science from pre-medic, pre-engineering and meet the needs of the prospective science teachers.
