- Title
Differentiating Ends from Outputs or Results.
- Authors
Carver, John
- Abstract
In Policy Governance the term ends refers to outputs as well as the recipients and worth of those outputs. While the meaning of ends does include outputs or results (using these two words interchangeably), it is a compound concept that also includes designating beneficiaries of those results and what the results are worth giving up-in terms of money or other results/beneficiaries-in order to get them. In this article John focuses solely on the results portion of the ends concept in order to address the differentiation under scrutiny here.
