- Abstract
The article focuses on the perspective of Immanuel Kant regarding positive duties as duties of justice. It states that the practical philosophy of Kant provides sufficient resources in developing a powerful account of basic positive duties. It states that Kant was concerned with criticizing the monarchic despotism and feudalism during his time. Meanwhile, it discusses left-libertarian argument and the liberal egalitarian or liberal socialist argument.
