The article provides information on field notes on bird watching in Connecticut from December 1, 2011 to February 29, 2012. A pink-footed goose was seen at Somersville Mill Pond in Somers throughout the season. Greater white-fronted geese were found in December and January at Mackenzie Reservoir in Wallingford. A black-legged Kittiwake was observed from shore off Stratford and trips on the New London-Orient, New York, ferry found them in Connecticut waters.
