- Title
BUILDING A SMART TELEPHONE RINGER.
- Authors
Smith, James David
- Abstract
The article discusses the development of a microcontroller that rings an on-stage telephone. It cites the half-bridge driver as a popular way to make alternating current in inexpensive inverters. It describes a firmware as software that is programmed into a physical chip. Rotary controls connected to analog-to-digital conversion channels were used to make the user-interface of the telephone ringer. Tips on assembling the circuit are presented.
