- Authors
Parolin, Peter
- Abstract
The article discusses the performance of women in the play "Kemps Nine Daies Wonder." The play presents an account of the women Kemp met after leaving his position as the principal clown in the Chamberlain's Men, along the way from London to Norwich, England including the one who joined his dance at Chelmsford and the other at Sudbury. The involvement of women ranges from watching him dance to welcoming him into their communities, to performing with him in front of audiences.
