- Abstract
The article discusses various issues related to social work practice involving the aging and well-being of LGBTQ older adults, and it mentions America's National Resource Center on LGBT Aging which contains resources for promoting the healthy aging of LGBTQ individuals. Personal and professional attitudes about sexual orientation, gender identity, and age are examined, along with advice for social workers on self-awareness. Heterosexism, transphobia, and heteronormativity are assessed.
