The article looks at the use of the statistical textbook "The STAT Manual" in the middle school settings and college level introductory statistics course. It is inferred that the textbook, which was originally made for teachers and students in science and technology programs, is laid out in a dual format. It explores the publication of the textbook as well as highlights the significance of mathematical underpinnings of scientific research in educational setting.
