- Abstract
The article focuses on the study of Rosemary tea for depression and anxiety. Topics discussed include Brain-derived neurotrophic factor (BDNF), one of the major neurotrophic factors, plays an essential role in the maintenance and survival of neurons and synaptic plasticity; and antidepressants up-regulate the expression of BDNF. Both conditions are also associated with inflammation, and elevated pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1, IL-6 and TNF.
