- Abstract
This article presents the author's views that despite what conclusions came from the reports published by the Canadian Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples in 1996, the First Nations must decide what they want to do for a government. The author examines several discussions that have taken place since 1996 on the subject of the governance of the First Nations including cultural and territorial concerns.
