- Abstract
To verify the effects of different types and modes of emulsifiers on the performance and lipid metabolism of white-feather broilers. 720 1-day-old AA broiler chicks with body condition and weight close to each other were selected for the experiment and randomly divided into 6 treatment groups, in‐ cluding control group, emulsifier group, -1% soybean oil group, -1% soybean oil plus emulsifier group, bile acids 1 group and bile acids 2 group, with 6 replicates of 20 chicks in each group. The control group was a control group fed a basal ration; the emulsifier group had 300 mg/kg of emulsifier added to the basal ration. The -1% soybean oil group was fed a base ration with a 1% reduction in soybean oil; the -1% soybean oil plus emulsifier group bile acids 1 group, and bile acids 2 group were fed a ration with a 1% reduction in soybean oil with the addition of 300 mg/kg of emulsifier, bile acids 1, and bile acids 2, respectively. The entire experimental period was 42 d. The results showed that: ① the addition of emulsifiers to the ration significantly increased the slaughter rate of 42-day-old broilers compared with the -1% soybean oil group (P˂0.05). ② Addition of emulsifier to the ration significantly increased liver fat content of 42-day-old broilers compared with -1% soybean oil group (P<0.01). ③ Addition of bile acids 2 to the ration significantly (P< 0.05) reduced serum glutamic transaminase (AST) activity in 42-day-old broilers compared to -1% soy‐ bean oil group. ④ The addition of bile acids 1 to the ration significantly increased the content of neutral detergent fiber in the terminal ileum of 42-day-old white-feathered broilers compared with the -1% soybean oil group (P<0.05). In summary, under the conditions of this experiment, lowering 1% soybean oil and adding 300 mg/kg of emulsifier to the ration can improve the slaughter rate of broilers, and the addition of the emulsifier has a certain promotion effect on the lipid metabolism of broilers, and the emulsifier has a better performance effects of improving the growth performance and lowering the abdominal fat rate.
