- Title
Applying Demand-Controlled Ventilation.
- Authors
XINGBIN LIN; LAU, JOSEPHINE
- Abstract
The article discusses the application of a standardized demand-controlled ventilation (DCV) in a building structure with multiple-zone variable air volume (VAV) system, in an aim to provide a method for the proper outdoor airflow rate. Topics discussed include the challenges involved in complying with the correct standard when developing DCV, the variables in the carbon dioxide-based dynamic approach for the system, and the key concept of the proposed DCV control strategy.
