- Abstract
With the continuous development of multimedia technology, the security of video information has been paid more and more attention. In order to solve the security problem of video information, a hyperchaotic video encryption method based on Field-Programmable Gate Array(FPGA) technology is proposed. In the encryption process, on the one hand, the FPGA controls the digital camera to implement the information collection of video in real-time;on the other hand, the FPGA produces the pseudo sequence of hyperchaotic system. The double encryptions of data and address are implemented for the video information collected from camera. The detail algorithm and design diagram of the hyperchaos-based video encryption are given and the results of FPGA implementation are provided. Analysis of security shows the subjective visual contrast of the cryptogram is significantly different, the key space is large, and the correlation of the statistical characteristics of the video image is weak, which proves that the encryption effect of hyperchaotic video encryption system based on FPGA is good and reliable.
