- Title
Im All und auf der Erde.
- Abstract
The article "In space and on Earth" is about the challenges of space travel and the importance of satellites for navigation on Earth. The author tells of her own dream of becoming an astronaut, which was not realized due to the technical difficulties in building a rocket. Instead, she decided to study physics. The article also mentions an electronics team at the Technical University of Munich that has successfully developed a flight computer. Another challenge in space is the radiation tolerance of power supplies for satellites, which can be improved through radiation-tolerant power modules. Finally, new methods for highly precise positioning and time determination using LEO satellites and quantum sensors are discussed.
