- Abstract
The article discusses findings of a research on intellectual disability in cerebral palsy (CP). It states that monitoring cognitive functioning in children with CP is important and has implications for planning of educational services and guiding interventions, and mentions that use of standard measures of intelligence frequently poses challenges. It notes that children with intellectual disability had more hospital admissions classified as emergency and multi-day.
