- Abstract
The article discusses the Distributed Common Ground System (DCGS), a potent twenty-first century weapon system created by the U.S. Department of Defense (DOD) for the Air Force. It notes that focusing on the human factor allows the realization of the full potential of the network-centric operations of DCGS. It states the importance of focusing on the efficiency and effectiveness of intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) to combat units.
