- Abstract
Both the vasa previa artery (blue arrows) and vein (red arrows) were ablated and appeared thrombosed without dye entering the vessel on dye injection testing. Vasa previa (VP) is defined as the presence of extraplacental fetal blood vessels traversing through the amniotic membranes over the cervix[1]. The placental cotyledon with vasa previa was ablated (white dotted circle), but a small tributary (small red arrows) can be seen branching off from the larger vasa previa vein near the internal os site (white circle with red border).
