- Abstract
The article discusses the impact of biotic and abiotic stress on plants, priming against such stress, and the use of menadione sodium bisulphite (MSB) to study mechanisms of stress. Topics include plant loss and plant tolerance or resistance, priming through stress imprinting, and using beneficial microbes as priming agents to induce a perception of microbe-associated molecular patterns (MAMPS). Other topics include reactive oxygen species (ROS) metabolism and ROS-dependent signaling networks.
