The article focuses on the importance of regional networks for teachers who need to find like-minded colleagues to develop professionally. Topics include the challenges rural teachers face in finding networks, the value of state or regional networks that shift focus to address local needs, and the creation of a regional network by two National Writing Project sites to support their work on a local level.
