- Abstract
This article discusses a case of isolated primary syphilitic chancre in the lower lip of a male teenager. The patient presented with an ulcerated lesion accompanied by cervical lymphadenopathy. The diagnosis was confirmed through histopathological analysis and serologic tests. The patient was treated with penicillin G benzathine, and the lesion completely resolved after one month of treatment. The article emphasizes the importance of recognizing and managing primary oral syphilitic chancre, especially in teenagers, to minimize the risks of disease transmission.
