- Abstract
This is relevant because Twitter and other social media platforms have become an important source and sometimes the only reference for many people. On the other hand, social media use makes it possible to identify some treatment beliefs not easily detected in surveys or publications.5 Therefore, it would be important that medical professionals and institutions increase their social media presence, particularly those related to dermatology and researching HS. Dear Editor, Social media has become an essential source of information for most people.
