- Abstract
The article discusses a study on the occupancy responses of small mammals to large-scale restoration treatments in Arizona's ponderosa pine forests. It says that Sherman and Tomahawk traps were used for small mammal sampling while correlation matrix and variance inflation factors (VIF) were applied in analyzing detection and habitat covariates. Results showed two out of eight small mammal species detected have positive occupancy responses such as Mexican woodrats and tassel-eared squirrel.
