- Abstract
The article discusses a study which investigated the national trend of firearm injuries and outcomes in the U.S. over a five-year period. The researchers used the American College of Surgeons' National Trauma Databank (NTDB). Details of the findings of the study are presented including a decline in mortality from 2007 to 2010. The limitations of the study are also cited.
