- Abstract
The article focuses on a study which examined the biodiversity and hydro-ecological selection of testate amoebae from Dajiuhu peatland in Shennongjia, Central China. Samples were collected from microsites within the peatland. Results of the study showed high variations in the morphology of testate amoebae in 136 Sphagnum samples. The study observed that variations in shell morphology can be attributed to different moisture conditions in their habitat.
