- Abstract
The Feeding and Nutrition Unit aims to produce meals that promote the worker's health. This study aimed to evaluate the process of hygiene of the leafy vegetables developed in a Feeding and Nutrition Unit and to compare to current standards of Ordinance 78/2009, a Brazilian ordinance. For carrying out the study, it was observed the process of cleansing of the leafy vegetables done by employees and the process was compared to the procedures determined by law. It was observed that the leafy vegetables hygiene procedures were performed as determined by Ordinance 78/2009. It was conclude that the process was conducted properly, according to the legal provisions and respecting all fix step processes.
