- Abstract
The article discusses the case of the use of the Neuro-Endo-Immune approach to cardiology. JT, a 60-year-old congressman, who had two previous heart attacks and four stents, was found to be borderline-diabetic with joint pain and 40 pounds overweight, suffering from central-fat distribution, fatigue, and poor sleep patterns. The running of urinary neurotransmitters showed low norepinephrine, low epinephrine, high glutamate, and an elevated 3,4-Dihydroxy-Phenylacetic Acid (DOPAC).
