Abstract
The article discusses the third form of reciprocal recognition, the domain of solidarity. Topics include arguments about social esteem based on the "Phenomenology of Spirit," by Friedrich Hegel and works of George H. Mead on nature of the self in relation to shared value-horizon with undistorted relation-to-self of humans. Also mentioned are realization of subjective values, communities of value, and shared praxis in social solidarity.
