- Abstract
The scarring effect of the labor in Bali is a very basic problem, but there has been no previous research that has analyzed scenarios for handling the scarring effects of Covid-19 in Bali with different analysis techniques. This study uses a mixed method research method that examines various problem-solving scenarios using questionnaires, interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD) with SMIC-Prob expert method. The results show that the scenario/strategy side jobs outside the tourism sector, non-eturning tourism labor, and side jobs in the tourism sector are the prime movers. Empirically this shows that returning to work in the tourism sector is the last option compared to the other three scenarios/strategies. This research is to provide an overview of the strategies/scenarios used by tourism sector workers in Bali in overcoming scarring-effect. It is hoped that this research can be used as a reference in making appropriate policies to overcome the adverse effects of the tourism sector workforce in order to achieve a sustainable economy.
