- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 6-month-old male umbrella cockatoo which presented dark fecal droppings. Physical examination of the bird reveals no abnormalities, while fecal Gram's stain reveals moderate gram-positive rods and cocci. The cockatoo was subjected to radiographs and found metallic foreign body, which was removed by endoscopy. Treatment given to the cockatoo include midazolam, flumazenil, and meloxicam.
