- Abstract
The article focuses on an 8-year longitudinal study on the effect of impact exercise on bone mineral content (BMC) during bone growth. It examined BMC of the hips of prepubertal children over an eight year period, with the study group participating in a seven month jumping intervention and a control group who participated in stretching programs over the same period.
