- Abstract
This article is a tribute to Marjorie Corman Aaron, a professor at the University of Cincinnati College of Law. The authors, two experienced trial lawyers, were invited by Marjorie to assist with her trial practice course. They highlight Marjorie's impressive teaching attributes, including her intelligence, work ethic, perception, and genuine care for her students. Marjorie goes above and beyond to address her students' deficiencies, often drawing on non-legal disciplines such as theater or speech to help them improve. She is also described as a joyful presence who makes the learning and competing process enjoyable. Under Marjorie's guidance, the University of Cincinnati trial practice teams have achieved great success, beating teams from larger schools and winning regional competitions. The authors also mention Marjorie's competitive nature and her dedication to correcting scoring injustices in competitions.
