- Abstract
The article examines the U.S. Supreme Court decisions of recognizing the differences between adults and children as well as the rehabilitative goal of the juvenile justice system. It describes the sex offence requirements for both adult and juvenile offenders in Ohio and discusses Ohio Supreme Court case State v. Williams in this context. It reflects that juvenile sex offender registration requirements in the U.S. are invalid as well as violate the Due Process Clause of the U.S. Constitution.
