The article surveys empirical studies on the relationship between compensation consultants and pays for chief executive officers (CEO) in the U.S. Great Britain. It provides an overview of the role consultants in executive compensation. It provides evidence preliminary evidence on the relationship between pay of CEO and consultants. It shows that there is a positive cross-section correlation between executive pay and consultants of compensation.
