- Authors
Dueck, Abe J.
- Abstract
The article presents an analysis regarding the relationships between Mennonite Brethren in the U.S. and in Canada during the past century. It shows the complexity of such relations in both countries. It examines the history of migration patterns of Mennonites from Russia to North America in three major waves. It analyzes the issues to post secondary education in the U.S.-Canadian Mennonite Brethren relations, particularly the theological education at the college and seminary levels. It concludes that cultural, political, and religious factors make it difficult to establish an ideal global Mennonite Brethren conference.
