- Abstract
The article focuses on issues surrounding death qualification of capital jurors in the U.S with reference to several cases involving death penalty sentences. Topics discussed include the U.S Supreme Court's rejection of the use of death penalty in cases addressing aggravated rape of child victims such as Kennedy v. Louisiana, the Supreme Court's decision in case Norris v. Alabama that involved conviction for rape and Batson v. Kentucky that addressed the use of peremptory challenges.
