- Abstract
The article focuses on an unreported harpsichord that was created in Florence, Italy in 1763 by an unknown builder, Gio. Piero Migliai, which is currently undergoing restoration in the hands of Miles Hellon, a distinguished restorer. This harpsichord was possibly linked to an Italian musician, Domenico Scarlatti, according to a research made by John Koster. The bridge of the harpsichord created by Migliai used the style of Bartolomeo Cristofori, the inventor of piano.
