- Abstract
The author offers his opinions on how interior designers can make a difference in the lives of those living in memory care facilities designed for those with geriatric dementias and Alzheimer's disease (AD). Particular focus is given to the importance of building a flexible and affordable model of assisted care for the baby boomer generation. Insights on how design must meet the physical, societal and spiritual needs of patients are also included.
