- Authors
Louthan, McIntyre
- Abstract
The author reflects on the presence of the roman numeral number four that was used on the faces of grandfather clocks. He states that the roman numeral number four that was seen on the clock dial is not IV but instead IIII. The author mentions that awareness, concentration to detail, and recognition of sudden features are important elements in some quality failure analysis. The author notes that familiarity caused contempt, however, familiarity led to missed awareness.
