- Abstract
The article presents information on the identification of patients that are at high risk of venous thromboembolism requiring treatment after outpatient surgery. It informs that a risk stratification model predict venous thromboembolism (VTE) events requiring treatment after outpatient surgery. It further informs that the risk factors other than surgical procedure are also important.
