- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 32-year-old woman with a history of RVVC (Recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis), unresponsive to conventional treatments, and growing Nakaseomyces glabrata with fluconazole resistance. Various treatment options are discussed, including high-dose fluconazole, caspofungin, metronidazole, clotrimazole, and ibrexafungerp. It focuses on ibrexafungerp, a novel antifungal medication targeting drug-resistant Candida species.
