- Abstract
The article discusses the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic and the importance of human relationships and the well-being of society. It highlights the vulnerability of special populations and the specific health risks posed by diversity factors in a globalized society. The article emphasizes the need for strong societies to adapt to change, modify traditional methods, and incorporate new ideas to address social challenges. The content of the issue includes a qualitative study on intimate partner relationships with incarcerated individuals, the impact of COVID-19 on African Americans in the justice system, and other relevant social problems in urban communities. It also presents innovative educational models that can be applied across disciplines to serve urban communities.
