- Abstract
The Iraqi Kurdish Shafi'i scholars did their best for the journey from Iraq, their original homeland, and settled in Egypt for the purpose of establishing the Shafi'i school of thought. They contributed to learning many arts such as Arabic, hadith, and science of readings under the direct guidance of Salah al-Din al-Ayyubi, who encouraged these scholars and exaggerated their honor and appointment to the highest sensitive state positions. Such as the judiciary, the imam, oratory, the ministry, and other positions. That is why those scholars innovated and continued their sciences and then contributed to spreading it on the Shafi'i school of thought, until this position became as if it were attached to them, and it became an attribute of all Kurds, whether they were Iraqis or not, and they settled in Egypt and spread their knowledge until they spent their lives in it and did not return to Their original home is Iraq (Erbil).
