- Abstract
La caracterización de las bases genéticas del lupus eritematoso sistémico (LES) y su complicación más común a nivel tisular, la nefritis lúpica (NL) permiten entender las reacciones autoinmunes acorde a las características genéticas de los pacientes. El propósito de la investigación es estimar la asociación del polimorfismo FCGR2B -232 I<T en pacientes con LES y NL, en una población de 105 pacientes con LES, NL y controles sanos, cuyo polimorfismo se encuentra asociado en la regulación de la respuesta inmune dado a que el receptor FCGR2B es el único con función inhibitoria del proceso de fagocitosis en la etapa de integración de antígenos en los linfocitos B. Se implementará una metodología de tipo experimental en la que se caracterizará la población de estudio en base a las guías del consenso de grupo de enfermedades autoinmunes sistémicas (GEAS) y pacientes LES en base al systemic lupus erythematosus disease activity index (SLEDAI); con secuenciación del polimorfismo (rs1050501), se evaluara la significancia de la frecuencia de la variante entre los grupos; considerándose significativamente diferente para valores de P<0.05 previéndose entre los resultados una asociación entre el genotipo homocigoto (Thr/ Thr) de FcγRIIB en los pacientes con LES y NL.
