- Abstract
The Schumpeter Archive is a collection of writings and documents by the famous economist Joseph Alois Schumpeter. It contains essays and documentation on Schumpeter's work at various universities, as well as political memoranda and letters. A digital new edition of the archived material has been created. The text discusses the connection between economics and politics in Schumpeter's scientific works and emphasizes the importance of political and economic equality for the survival of democracies. It also addresses Schumpeter's criticism of political measures that impair capitalism.
