- Abstract
The article presents information on a study which assessed the water and sediment concentration trapping efficiencies of riparian vegetation in northern Laos. The potential effect of cultivation of riparian land on these trapping efficiencies and water quality is also explored. The study has established and monitored the adjacent steep banana, bamboo, and native grass sites, and three upland rice sites. The computation results for water trapping efficiency and sediment concentration trapping efficiency were also revealed.
